I have been meaning to get back with you for a long time now. I want to Thank You so very much for being the inspiriation of the young. Your music can be heard by all. I have been to your site many times, but never to drop a line to tell you how wonderful a family you have too. I have a couple of military sites wherein I have all the temporary cemeteries listed and units that operated them in WW1, WW2, and Korea. I have also listed some of my personal experiences from Vietnam. I want to share also with the young, the history of our nation and how we all came about since the Colonial days. I have had a small set back for the past few months. I have dedicated a site to my one grandson that had a cancerous brain tumor removed and has had many difficulties sinc his operation. Very Good I've down loaded some of your Midi. View and printed the scores then played along your music. I have 3 accordeons and play many German/Austrian tunes. (My Mother is German) I've always wanted to get some Germanic music from the www but have only just put some effort into doing this. I run Cakewalk Pro 7 and Cubasis with my SB Awe into an amp and 100Watt Speakers. I run these into a Yamaha KB. If my Dad were living now he would have been 91 years old. I am 53 soon to be 54 and have a 22 year old son and 31 year old daughter, 3 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 2 great nieces not bad for my age. Hello Granpa Schober A terrific site, only discovered it a few weeks ago and have visited many times since. We are grandparents now, 4 year old Matthew and 14 month Lucy, I have been able to pick some of Matthews tunes and email to his dad for playing, they really enjoy thes . To no avail I have been searching the web for the words and tune of 'Put Your Shoes On Lucy' I think is was a 1940's song, my granda used to sing it, we had an aunt Lucy and now we have a grandaughter with the same name, I would love to find the full word , can you or some of your guests help? Wonderful sight! I used your In the garden and spent a fair bit of time getting rid of all the 'little notes' that happen when you change chords on a automated keyboard. What keyboard device did you use to create that file?? I'll send you the 'fixed version soon - though I changed it a bit - added 3rd verse, ritard at end, repeated last line, etc.
